This powerful online learning companion helps students gauge their unique study needs and provides them with a Personalized Learning plan that enhances their problem-solving skills and conceptual understanding.
Fundamentals of Biochemistry
Donald Voet
This text uses a more brief and qualitative approach to present biochemistry with chemical rigor, focusing on the structures of biomolecules, chemical mechanisms, and evolutionary relationships. It is written to impart a sense of intellectual history of biochemistry, an understanding of the tools and approaches used to solve biochemical puzzles, and a hint of the excitement that accompanies new discoveries. This edition has been thoroughly updated to reflect the most recent advances in biochemistry, particularly in the areas of genomics and structural biology. A new chapter focuses on cytoskeletal and motor proteins, currently one of the most active areas of research in biochemistry.

BRS Biochemistry and Molecular Biology flash cards
These flash cards go beyond the basic science principles of biochemistry and molecular biology to focus on clinically relevant medical biochemistry and molecular biology facts, which are tested on the USMLE and asked in medical class group sessions or on course exams. The cards can be used either alone or in conjunction with BRS Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, Fourth Edition.
Each double-sided card has a short phrase on the front that triggers recall of a fact; the corresponding fact appears on the back of the card. The card deck is divided into sections to organize your study into manageable chunks.

GRE Subject Biochemistry, Cell Biology, Molecular Biology Practice Test II
Two collections of original questions designed specifically for GRE Subject Biochemistry, Cell and Molecular Biology preparation.
If you have taken the GRE Subject Biochemistry, Cell and Molecular Biology exam before, or took a look at the practice book provided by ETS, you probably noticed that there are three distinct question types on the exam.
The first type we call simple questions. "Simple questions" are straightforward and require knowledge of basic concepts. Sometimes there is a figure or a table related to these questions.
The second type is the match questions, in which the examinee is asked to match two terms, out of a pool of 4-5 terms.
The third type we call experimental data analysis questions. In these types of questions, usually an experimental data is depicted either in a form of a graph or a table and then 2-4 questions related to the experimental data are asked.
The proportions of the simple, match and experiment questions is roughly 125:25:35 (for a total of 180 questions). In our practice tests, we keep the same proportions for the sake of simulating the real exam conditions.
All of the questions in these practice test eBook series are 100% original and were designed specifically for the preparation for GRE Subject Biochemistry, Cell and Molecular Biology exam.
